35 hour YACPA Yoga Alliance Course
Prenatal Yoga is the practice of Yoga that designed and fully dedicated to pregnant women.
Throughout this important period of life, the woman’s body and mind adapts; and so should the practice of Yoga.
At Nydum, we provide this 35 hour prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Course to help you expand your knowledge and confidence so you can guide women throughout pregnancy by helping them soothe aches and pains in the body, relax the mind, and prepare the body for birth and postpartum.
Throughout this week, you will learn the main changes that women experience throughout 40 weeks of pregnancy, how to practise during each of those weeks, and the benefits that practice can bring both for Mum and baby.
Differences in the Yoga Practice during the prenatal and postnatal period and how the teaching in your classes can have an important impact on both.
How Yoga Practice can have an impact on women's birth experiences by reducing the amount of hours spent in labour as well as reaching on the postpartum phase with a healthier pelvic floor and body overall so they can enjoy a a safe and quick recovery.
Effective use of props, alignment, class structure, exploration of cueing, and myofascial and meridian line knowledge all specific for a mother to be.
This course will give you the tools to be able to teach physical or online classes. It is designed for teachers who are seeking further knowledge on how to help and support pregnant women, by offering access to up to date gynaecological advice concerning pregnancy.
