The yoga teachers
Our courses are led by highly knowledgeable, international Yoga Teachers. They love what they do, and each of them brings a unique way of creating an atmosphere to make learning accessible to each individual.
Amèlia Valls - Catalonia
Amelia's journey as a teacher started 20 years ago, having been trained in Pilates, Fitness and Personal Training. She worked with a diverse range of people and communities. At that point she realized how much she loved to help people have a better, active life and decided to study a degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences, in Spain. In 2013 she completed her 500 hrs YTTC at Kranti Yoga, Goa, India. Initially, it was to complement her field of work and studies.
However, during her training she developed a completely different point of view about the concept of health. She realized that health is not just about the physical body but the mind and soul also. Through Yoga, Amelia found balance in her life. She started to incorporate aspects of yoga philosophy not only on the mat but also in her everyday life. After Amelia's initial extended, in depth studies of yoga in India, she returned home and realized how much she missed The Yoga Village. She returned to assist on the YTTCs in order to develop herself as a Yoga Teacher. Passionate about anatomy, she was quickly able to apply her knowledge in the Ashtanga Yoga practice, helping students on a daily basis to overcome the many obstacles faced physically. As a teacher, Amelia is unwaveringly attentive and possesses the rare gift of making learning fun and enjoyable. Ask her any question about functional anatomy and her creative response will provide you with the most accessible answer. Amelia is sure that her purpose in life is to help and inspire other people to believe in themselves and challenge their existence.
Giuseppe - Italy
Giuseppe is a scholar of metaphysics, eastern philosophy, astrology and open to any other useful tool for the liberation of the Divine that waits patiently within each of us. After various attempts and heterogeneous life paths, the philosophy of yoga has become for him a common attractive core for every other field of knowledge. All in order to help him and help others to flow within the universal divine force; which, as above so below, performs the miracle of union.
Nina -Belgium
My name is Nina, I am a yoga instructor with over 6 years of experience guiding students in diverse settings across 5 countries. I specialize in Vinyasa, Yin, Hatha, and Pre-and Postnatal Yoga, and my classes are known for their creative and fluid flows that emphasize natural movement.
As a former dancer, movement has always been an integral part of my life. My passion for yoga deepened during a transformative year in India, where I immersed myself in the practice, learning from esteemed teachers. Following this, I gained valuable experience as a yoga teacher at a renowned yoga school in Goa for 5 months.
My teaching style is informed by a deep understanding of the therapeutic benefits of yoga. I guide students to slow down, cultivate mindful movement, and integrate yoga into their daily lives. My classes are accessible for everyone, regardless their experience level.
My journey with yoga has been deeply personal, supporting me through various life stages, including motherhood. This profound connection to the practice allows me to share my passion and knowledge with genuine empathy and understanding.
Núria Ortínez - Catalunya
My passion for cooking began as a child, watching and observing my grandmother cook.
From her I learned and understood what it means to cook with love.
I have worked for many years as a haute couture model and during those years I learned a lot about aesthetics and the sensitivity of colors and beauty in general.
I have been a private chef for more than ten years and everything I learned working with one of the great masters of haute couture in our country has been very useful in the presentation of the dishes I cook.
I like to work with local, high-quality products, pure flavors, Mediterranean cuisine with modern touches. I love making my own creations of simple dishes with lots of flavor, colors and textures.

After having taught Hatha Yoga in his small studio in Northern Italy, since January 2018 Sal has led accessible Hatha, Yin and Restorative Yoga as well as meditation sessions to hundreds at the Amchara Health Retreat in Gozo while keeping exploring other Yoga lineages and styles as well as more modern approaches to mindfulness. Nicola Machalová - Czech republic
Nica is passionate yogi nomad, traveling and teaching around the world, sharing holistic bodywork and its transformative healing powers. With degree in psychology, background in movement therapy, thai massage therapy, breathwork and a decade of experience with teaching yoga, Nica will be sharing her dedication and love for philosophy, ashtanga vinyasa, vinyasa flow, yin yoga and related workshops during your 200 & 300 hrs training.
“Yoga is so much more than asana (body posture). It’s philosophy of life manifested and practised on the mat, it’s confrontation with what needs to be seen, it’s letting go of who we think we should be and rather surrendering into who we already are. Yoga for me is a deep journey through the self, to the Self.” Seeing our body as a tool, guide, unique universe, metaphor to inner mental and emotional worlds, Nica holds non-judgmental safe space for you to look into the depths of yourself: “Teacher trainings are tremendous opportunity to pause, observe, to walk the path of transformation, and it’s my honour to support and accompany you”.
